The French brand Vivlio has come up with the details of its upcoming e-reader offering, the Vivlio Light HD Color. As the website Liseuses.net reported, the e-reader is going to be another option in the entry-level e-reader segment having a color display, the other option here being the Kobo Clara Colour. Much like its competitor, the Vivlio Light HD Color will come with a 6-inch Kaleido 3 color e-paper display. The display also gets a front light feature that ensures efficient illumination of the display to allow for comfortable reading even in the dark.
The e-reader supports Bluetooth 5.4 and is capable of playing back audiobook files. This apart, the e-reader also comes with a text-to-speech feature that can read aloud the content on the screen. This way, the e-reader can be great for audiobook fans. Among the other features of the e-reader include Wi-Fi and IPX8 certification, which means it can be safely taken to the poolside or along the beach for reading. The e-reader is also compatible with almost all known e-book and audiobook formats, which makes the upcoming Vivlio Light HD Color a truly versatile e-reader.
Now, if the specs and above all the looks seem familiar, that is because it in reality is the Pocketbook Verse Pro Color that is rebranded and sold in France under the Vivlio brand. Understandably, it comes integrated with a French bookstore and is meant for sale only in France.
Coming to its price, the Vivlio Light HD Color is going to cost €179.99 and is set for launch in France on 16th September 2024.
