A specially curated collection of J.K. Rowling’s creative works is going to be made available soon, wizardingworld.com reported. That includes articles and anecdotes related to Harry Potter and his magical world. There are also going to be stories related to other characters of the series along with stuff that you might not have known so far. Specifically, there are going to be 80 articles and anecdotes that have all been written by J.K. Rowling, set for release on 29th August 2024. There is also going to be a foreword included penned by none other than Evanna Lynch who played the role of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films.
While all of the content is also hosted for free on WizardingWorld.com, From the Wizarding Archive, as the collection is named, is already available to pre-order. All of the content is in English and is available in both e-book and audiobook formats. The audio format of the content will be available for the first time and will be exclusive to Audible. What is interesting is that there is going to be a friendly infographic provided to help you get started with the content which has been designed to suit almost all, be it hard-core Harry Potter fans or those who have just started with the series.
The audiobook version is going to be a single volume while the e-book will comprise of two volumes. With the latter, Volume One will comprise of 45 articles that have been curated and put together for the first time. Volume Two, on the other hand, will comprise of 35 articles that were published before in 2016 as the ‘Pottermore Presents’ series which comprised of three e-books. Buyers will also have the option to go for a combined edition comprising of both Volume One and Volume Two.
The audiobook will be narrated by Evanna Lynch while J.K. Rowling’s original articles will be read by Hugh Quarshie, Finlay Robertson, and Lara Sawalha. After the English version has been launched, From the Wizarding World will also be made available in other languages as well. Those include German, French, Italian and Spanish languages. It is going to be in both e-book and audiobook formats and will be launched in November.
